Mr. Michael Lewis Redeemar transitioned this earthly life to life eternal on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at his residence in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 65 years. He was born on March 2, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee to David and Mary Helen Redeemar, the sixth of ten children from their union.
Michael graduated from Buena Vista High School in 1971. He then served in the United States Air Force with an honorable discharge. Michael has had many successful careers including being an amazing DJ, and sales associate for Kirby vacuums, shoes, and cars. He recently retired from his Over-The-Road Truck driving career after five years. Michael loved music and performed in several bands, including the Mind, Body and Soul Band which featured his brothers, Robert and Danny Redeemar and the Rewind Band which featured his brothers, Danny and Johnnie Redeemar. He recently performed with the Blues Mobile of Bay City, Michigan. Michael loved playing his guitar, fishing, and being with his family.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory two daughters, Shannon (Damon) Redeemar-Young, Lansing, Michigan and Stacy Redeemar, Memphis, Tennessee; four grandsons, Darryn, Addison, Kalin and Camryn Young, all of Lansing, Michigan; four brothers, David Redeemar, Harry (Mae) Redeemar, Johnnie (Bertha) Redeemar, and Robert Redeemar, all of Saginaw; two sisters, Sharon Justice and Linda (Christopher) Adams, both of Indianapolis, Indiana; many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends in Saginaw, Michigan, Memphis, Tennessee, and Indianapolis, Indiana, including special friend, Nequel Davis. Michael will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
Michael was predeceased by his parents, David and Mary Helen Redeemar; two sisters, Sylvia Beatrice and Marie Annette Redeemar, and one brother, Danny Ray Redeemar.
