Mr. Wallace Dion McFarland passed away Monday, September 21, 2026, at McLaren Greater Lansing in Lansing, Michigan. Age 45 years. He was born Sunday, August 9, 1981, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Mary Ann Williams and Wallace McFarland.

Wallace loved spending time with his family and friends, but he also enjoyed bowling, cooking, and playing his video games. He also enjoyed music and dancing. Wallace was a great artist who enjoyed drawing pictures for his family. He worked as a construction worker and was a great handyman.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Ashari Jackson; 2 daughters, Daishya Stanley and Armoni Stanley; grandchildren, Ja’Kai Benson, Sa’Riya Griffin, Elijah Hollins, Arris Griffin, and Amir Griffin; mother, Mary Ann Williams; stepfather, Daryl Jeffries, Sr.; stepmother, Dwametria Nelson; 3 brothers, Darnell Jeffries, Daryl Jeffries, Jr., and George McFarland; eight nieces, nine nephews, three aunts, 2 uncles, many cousins including a special cousin he grew up with Gerald Turner; 4 sisters -in-law, Helina West, Ja’Nessa West, Laura Hernandez, and Alicia Love; 2 brothers-in-law, John Michael West and Alan West; many other relatives and friends including Candra McCool and James (Jizzle) Dunbar.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wallace McFarland; grandmother, Flora Lee Williams; aunts, Joanne Johnson and Annette Madden, and mother-in-law, Addie Jackson.
