Walker Durham

DURHAM, Mr. Walker, of Saginaw, Michigan. Beloved father, grandfather, brother passed away Monday, June 22, 2009 at Luther Manor, Saginaw, MI, age 87. The son of the late Isiah and Fannie Durham was born September 9, 1921 in Itta Bena, MS. Retired from General Motors (Grey Iron) after 27 years of service, he served in the U.S. Army during WWII and received the Victory Medal and was honorably discharged.
Surviving are four sons, Walker (Hazel) Durham, Louis (Lenora) Durham, Lorenso (Vivian) Durham, and Cary Durham, Saginaw, MI; one daughter, Lynette Durham, Virginia Beach, VA, fourteen grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren, one brother Tommie Lee (Lucille) Durham, Chicago, IL, many other relatives and friends. Mr. Durham was predeceased by his wife Arabella Durham and one sister, Alberta Durham.
