Tracy Brewer

Tracy Brewer passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Healthsource Medical Center. Tracy was born on January 17, 1959, in Saginaw, Michigan to James and Azlee (Young) Brewer. 

Tracy was a graduate of St. Joseph High School class of 1977 where she held several “undefeated” records during her track career. She attended Mt. Olive Institutional Missionary Baptist Church. Tracy worked many years for the Saginaw City Police Department as a Crossing Guard and later as a caretaker doing private home care. Tracy loved spending time with her family and friends. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, her “twin”, Aviyon Beverly; two grandsons, both who were her pride and joy, Lathan Ray and Braylen Beverly all of Saginaw, Michigan; brother, Willie (Mary) Brewer; sisters, Dorothy Brewer, Laverne Brewer, Donna (Greg) Shipman, all of Saginaw, MI, Connie Brewer, Inglewood, CA; aunts, Lillie B. Strong, Ocene Morris, Alice Fields, and Helen Scott; uncles, Moses (Gwen) Brewer and Lincoln Young; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  

Tracy was preceded in death by two sons, Antwan Brewer and Jaquay Beverly; her parents, James and Azlee Brewer; brother, Larry Brewer; sisters, Deborah Brewer and Sheila Brewer.  

The family would like to express a huge “Thank You” to family and friends for your generous donations, Pastor Ben Smith, Karen Winchester Murphy, Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
