Toney Lamont Culpepper

Mr. Toney Lamont Culpepper passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, at his residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 53 years. He was born in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Marian D. Vaughn and Toney Culpepper, Jr., on Sunday, April 2, 1972.

Toney is a member of New Directions Healing Ministries, and he had Love for Jesus Christ in his life for his salvation.

Toney graduated from J. W. Sexton High School in Lansing, Michigan. Toney worked at several restaurants before becoming disabled. He loved to play sports, mainly basketball. Toney was always good-hearted and respectable to others.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories, children, JaLayLa R. Culpepper, Savion Culpepper, and Savanah Culpepper; mother, Marian D. Vaughn; stepfather, Larry Glasscoe; sisters, Kia (Quincey) Johnson of Lansing, Michigan, Jamila Anderson of Columbus, South Carolina, and Alicia W. Williams of Lansing, Michigan; brothers, Jonathan Johnson of Lansing, Michigan, Maurice Culpepper of Nashville, Tennessee, and Rashad Dean of Nashville, Tennessee; stepsisters, Myesha Glasscoe, Renesha Glasscoe, Keshia Glasscoe, and Latoya Glasscoe all of Lansing, Michigan; aunts, Theresa Ann Vaughn, Sharon Kay Vaughn, and Gloria Jean Hughes; uncles, Richard Vaughn of Detroit, Michigan, Stanley Vaughn of Lansing, Michigan, Willis Vaughn, Jr. of Lansing, Michigan, David Vaughn of Orlando, Florida, and Timothy Vaughn of Lansing, Michigan; many other relatives and friends including special friends Quiana Bishop and Missy.

He was preceded in death by his father, Toney Culpepper, Jr.
