Mr. Todd Michael Longcor passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at home, surrounded by the love of his daughters and family. Age 64 years. He was born on Monday, January 8, 1962, in Lansing, Michigan, to Gerald and Peggy Jo Longcor. Todd was the third of five children born to this union and the eldest son.
Todd was born and raised in Lansing, Michigan, and attended school within the Lansing School District. It was there that he met the love of his life, Christine Hazel, better known as Chris. They were united in marriage on March 27, 1982, and later welcomed three daughters: Angela, Heather, and Racheal. Todd’s girls were his proudest accomplishments. As a devoted girl dad, he worked hard to teach them independence, strength, and resilience.
Some of Todd’s favorite pastimes included bowling, NASCAR racing, fishing, and football. He was a loyal fan who never missed an opportunity to cheer on Michigan State University, the Detroit Tigers, and the Detroit Lions.
Above all, Todd loved watching his grandchildren participate in sports and pursue their many interests. He was an incredibly proud Grandpa, affectionately known as “Pop.” He enjoyed staying busy and was rarely without a project to tackle or a problem to solve. Todd found great joy in helping others, especially his siblings, and frequently devoted his weekends to lending a helping hand wherever it was needed.
Todd will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his generous heart, and the pride he took in the accomplishments of those he loved. Whether cheering from the sidelines, helping a family member with a project, or spending time with those closest to him, Todd's presence brought comfort and strength to those around him. His legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though his presence will be deeply missed, the lessons he taught, the love he shared, and the memories he created will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Treasuring his memory are his daughters, Angela (Shawn) Evans, Heather (Lance) Longcor, and Racheal (Thomas) Wilber; grandchildren, Allie Hardy, Gage Evans, Tayla Hardy, Drake Evans, Paige Tobias, Khloe Tobias, and Sophie Longcor; mother, Peggy Jo Longcor; siblings, Terry Longcor, Kathy (Wayne) Olgesbee, Lorie (Kevin) Weitzel, and Timothy (Lynn) Longcor, Sr.; nieces, Jasmine (George) Hollon, Cassandra (Lucas) Lounds, Jasmine Weitzel, and Ashley Weitzel; nephews, Ronnie Norris, Timothy Gladstone, Patrick (Tabatha) McCarn, Lucas Gladstone, Timothy (Rebecca) Longcor, Jr., Jared Longcor, Brad Hazel, Kevin Hazel, Ted Harper III, Richard Weitzel, and Cody Longcor; and bonus granddaughters, Ciera Tobias, Raiah Tobias, and Meigha Nisse. Todd will also be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
