Thomas Cannarile (Lansing)

Thomas John Cannarile was born May 1, 1945 in Lansing, Michigan to John and Virginia Cannarile. Tom was a longtime resident of Laingsburg, Michigan, who worked for Oldsmobile for 39 years; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and telling “Dad” jokes. Tom graduated from Everett High School (Lansing, Michigan) in 1963 and in 1976 completed an Associates Degree in Transportation and Traffic Management from Lansing Community College.

On April 24, 1965 Tom married Ellen Ann Creager in Dansville, Michigan. Tom and Ellen had three sons: Timothy Cannarile (Deceased), Anthony Cannarile (Bradenton, Florida) and Daniel Cannarile (Manistee, Michigan). Tom and Ellen also have seven grandchildren: Sheena Sumner (Alanson, Michigan), Kylee McKee (Rudyard, Michigan), Summers Captain (Rudyard, Michigan), Dillon Oostendorp (Greensboro, Florida), Skyler Cannarile (Bradenton, Florida), Sophia Cannarile (Bradenton, Florida) and Jacob Cannarile (Imlay City, Michigan). Tom and Ellen have five great-grandchildren: Thomas McKee (Rudyard, Michigan), Kallee McKee (Rudyard, Michigan), Alani Sumner (Alanson, Michigan), Elyse Sumner (Alanson, Michigan) and Eddie Langford, Jr. (Rudyard, Michigan). Tom had five siblings: Marjorie Cannarile (Deceased), Charles Cannarile (Deceased), Jean Cannarile-McCain and late-husband David McCain (Lansing, Michigan), Susan Pulte and husband Mark Pulte (Grand Rapids, Michigan) and Frank Cannarile and wife Jennifer Cannarile (Lansing, Michigan). Tom had many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents, brother, sister and a son.
