Ms. Tennille Genell Young passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024, at her residence in Lansing, Michigan. Age 48 years. She was born Thursday, October 7, 1976, in Benton Harbor, Michigan, the daughter of Shelly Young and Billy Earl Davis.

Tennille resided in Lansing, Michigan as an adolescent through her adult years. She attended Lansing Eastern High School, where she excelled academically. Tennille was in the process of starting her very own business for Ornament Decorations as well as becoming a tax preparer. She was proficient with designing beautiful ornament decorations that were displayed for many baby showers as well as different celebrations. Tennille always made herself available to help out with any special occasions for family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her life and memories her mother, Shelly Young; sisters, Stephanie, Tammy, Dephanie, and Latrinna; brothers, Billy, Darren, and Donta; 5 nieces, NaQuetta, Shaniqua, Victoria, Shellae, and Billie Dee; 6 nephews, Cornelius, Khyalil, DeVonta, Eldorado, Billy Jr., Joshua, and Braxton; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Earl Davis.
