Ms. Tammarah Chambers passed away on July 15, 2026, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 34 years. Tammarah was born on August 17, 1991, in Lansing, Michigan to parents, Bryant Keith Cole and Tammie Terrelle Thurman.
Tammarah was a very beautiful, and intelligent young woman. She attended Lansing Public Schools and graduated from Everett High School. She held various jobs throughout her life including, Family Dollar and Speedway Gas Station.
She had several hobbies, which included, taking nature walks, exploring diverse atmospheres, swimming, baking and decorating to name a few.
Tammarah was very outgoing, she loved meeting and conversating with people. However, her favorite conversations were with her children whom she loved very much. She truly enjoyed spending time with them.
She was a very special young woman with a big heart; she loved helping others and would do anything and everything she was able to do for anyone and will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory children, Jericho Chambers, Josiah Chambers, Sariya Chambers, and Emeral Nunn; mother, Tammie Thurman; grandmother, Shirley Ruth Johnson; sisters, Auzinye, Auzsaunna, Aniya, and Ramera; brothers, Marquan and Aujujuan Ferguson and St Christian Thurman; niece, Terrelle Ruth Thurman; aunts, Dianne Thurman, Charrise Hall, Bonnie McPeak, and Dede; uncles, Julian, Samuel, Derrick, DeAngelo, Andrew, Michael, and Christopher; many other relatives and friends, including cousins, Patricia Westbrook and Meechi; and special friends, Kim, Lisa , and Charyn.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bryant Keith Cole; grandfather, Samuel Hall, great-grandparents, Leroy and Flora Thurman; uncle, Shimaun Thurman; aunties, Mae Wilson and Ether Norris; cousins, Timothy, Gwendolyn, and Terry Wilson; and close family friends, Camona Richardson and Angela Rochelle Kelso.
The family would like to express special thanks to everyone who had Tammarah's best interest at heart. In addition, we appreciate all those who were supportive during our time of bereavement.
