Our beloved mother, Shelby McKay Joy (Dolly) passed away Monday, February 22, 2016 at Northwind Rehab and Healthcare Center. Age 60 years.
Shelby McKay Joy was born November 20, 1955 in Middleton, Tennessee to Commodore and Cora Joy.
Shelby enjoyed listening to music, sewing, and spending time with family.
Shelby McKay Joy leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Candice Latrice Joy, Lansing, Michigan; seven sisters, Ruby Jackson, Debra Crowell, Janice Jackson, Cylinda Hackman, Sandra Jackson, Brenda Vaughn, Cora Jackson; four brothers, Russell Joy, Bobby Joy, Eligah Jackson, Terry Jackson; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Commodore and Cora Joy, step-father, Elijan Jackson, two sisters, Bertha Thomas, Patricia Joy, god-parents, Alberta Kerr-Smith and Joel Smith.
