Ronald Hyde passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2026, in Holt, Michigan. Age 71 years. He was born Sunday, July 11, 1954, in Fowler, Michigan. The son of Emma and Wayne Hyde.

Ronald proudly served in the United States Army, with time spent in Virginia Beach, North Carolina, and Germany. After his service, he returned to Michigan to be near his family.

Ronald was a kind, gentle, and hardworking man with a giving heart. He was known for his knowledge of small engines-there wasn't much he couldn't fix. He quietly helped many people secure housing when they otherwise would not have been able to have a place of their own.

He was deeply affected by the loss of the love of his life, Linda, and carried that loss with him.

He leaves behind his devoted sister, Barbara Rodriguez, who lovingly cared for him. He also leaves behind his loving nieces, Helen (Charley) Rodriguez-Lay, Tonya (Dan Clark) Rodriguez, Nicholette Lone, and Jonni Marshall; and nephews, Troy (Shawna) Furgala, Juan (Dwaina) Furgala, and Hoyt Bennehoff.

He is further survived by his great nieces and nephew. Khayden Furgala, Jaelynn Furgala, and Illeanna Quintero.

He is preceded in death by the love of his life Linda; parents Emma and Wayne Hyde; brother Richard Hyde; and brother in-law Juan "Johnny" Rodriguez. Ronald will be deeply missed.
