Robin Ambra Maldonado

Ms. Robin Ambra Maldonado (Sherman), age 63, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan.

Born in Lansing, Michigan, on December 3, 1961, Robin was the daughter of Jack and Patricia Wardell. She was raised in the Eaton Rapids, Charlotte, and Lansing areas and was a graduate of Eaton Rapids High School in 1980. She later earned a Certified Nursing Assistant certificate. In her later years, Robin resided in Charlotte, Michigan.

She was known to be a great cook and was dedicated to her creative pursuits in crafting.

Robin is survived by her son, Andrew Sherman, and daughter, Ashley Maldonado; her grandchildren, Dylan and Brandon Sherman of Lumberton, Texas, and Santiago and Emaniyah Kemp of Lansing, Michigan; her mother, Patricia Wardell; sister, Nan Sherman; brother, John Sherman; niece, Sydney Ferguson; nephew, Matthew Sherman; step-siblings, Rusty, Julie, and Jackie; and friend & long-time companion, Nathan Klingman.

She was preceded in death by her partner of 30 years, David Sproul; her father, Jack Wardell; brothers, George Sherman and Paul Sherman; and her grandparents, George and Thelma Brownwell.
