Robin Marie Herington

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Robin M. Herington, aged 35, formerly of St Charles, Michigan, and recently Bridgeport, Michigan. Robin was a cherished daughter, niece, aunt, cousin, and partner to her closest friend in life. She left us on February 28, 2026, along with her beloved animals and family members: Buddy, Ziggy, Grace, and Hope.

Robin was born to Krista (Fedder) and Daryl Herington on July 30, 1990, in Saginaw, Michigan. She attended St Charles Public Schools, participated in Little League, and played clarinet in the marching band throughout middle and high school. Robin later attended SISD Transition Center and graduated from MCTI in Plainwell, Michigan, with her certificate in retail class of 2015.

She found joy in meeting new people, thrifting, reading, gaming on her Xbox, spending time with friends, and late-night phone calls with Aunt Sara. Her life was filled with stories about deer hunting with Grandpa John, fishing, playing video games, listening to music, road trips to Georgia, and annual visits to Yoder’s flea market. Robin worked at Nixon’s Grocery, McDonald's of St Charles, Meijer, and most recently at Volunteers of America Saginaw, where she built many lasting friendships.

Robin deeply loved her family. She is survived by her mother Krista Herington (Ted Stevens), Daryl and Nanette Yoder-Herington; brothers Garrett Herington, Jonas (Dani) Paten, Jacob (Lauren) Yoder; aunts and uncles John and Sara Fedder, Jeff and Jenny Fedder, Geoff and Vicki Burgess, Mike and Karen Herington, one great uncle; nephew Gabriel Herington, and her best friend and boyfriend Trace Burgess, as well as numerous close cousins. Though Robin will be missed by everyone who cared for her, her memory will endure within us all.

She was preceded in death by her biological father, Robert Gale; brother Daryl Herington Jr., grandparents Ralph and Jane (Olman) Herington, John and Sandie (Loachridge) Fedder; namesake aunt Robin M. Fedder, and several other relatives.

 A  private burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, St Charles, Michigan.
