Mr. Robert Williams Sr. was born to Faynell Delores Williams and Robert Percy Jenkins in Detroit, Michigan, on October 25, 1974. Robert passed away on January 5, 2026, at the age of 51, surrounded by his family, to be with the Lord.
Robert was a graduate of Mt. Clemmons High School Class of 1992. He was a newspaper carrier and also assisted the community, instructing the youth and teaching close friends and family in the skilled trades. Robert attended Ferris State University, where he majored in Criminal Justice and was on the wrestling team.
He was baptized at Warren Avenue Baptist church at the age of 11. Robert was a skilled trade pipe fitter and tool bender for 26 years. He was employed at Ford Motor Company.
Robert enjoyed music, rapping, writing music, and working with various record labels under the name Ruler Cyphe-Cop Heavy. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, family, and close friends. Robert was always a very positive person whom everyone enjoyed being around. He was the most genuine friend you could ever hope to have and saw the best in everyone.
Robert leaves behind his loving wife Tiara Williams; his daughters, Janiyah Williams, Kelsei Shipp, and Kaelynn Williams; sons, Robert Williams, Jr., Trezale Williams, Demarcio Williams, Tyrell Williams, McCoy Willams, James Williams, Kyren Williams, and Prince’Kameron Williams; sisters, Donna Williams, Tracey Shelton, Carletta Williams, Robin Williams, Brenda Carmichael, Pherbe Jenkins, Cardarine Jenkins, and Pineniece Jenkins; brothers, Jessie Stevens, Derek Jones, Raymond Stevens, mother-in-law Lajoyce Leverett, along with a host of nieces and nephews; his cousin Isiha L Caruthers and special friends, Robert Askew, Robin Seay, DeShawn Sanders, Jonathan Dunn, Romel Atterberry, and Bradley Stokes.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Faynell Williams and Robert Jenkins, niece Cierra, and aunt Mary Alice Brown.
