Mr. Ramon Deon Culbert, 46, of Saginaw, Michigan, made his heavenly transition on January 29, 2026. A devoted Christian man, Ramon lived a life marked by love, service, and quiet strength, leaving a lasting imprint on all who knew him.
Ramon was born on January 26, 1980, to Kimberly Culbert. He was a proud graduate of Arthur Hill High School, Class of 2000. Though quiet in nature, he was often described as a “gentle giant,” admired for his kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine concern for others. He had a special place in his heart for those less fortunate and individuals with special needs, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer encouragement.
Family, faith, and work were central to Ramon’s life. He was a devoted member of New Heart Mission Church, where he faithfully served in multiple ministries with a special passion for the Food Pantry. Introduced to the church through pantry services, Ramon made it a priority to serve every Wednesday, as his work schedule allowed, demonstrating his deep commitment to both God and the community.
Ramon worked many service-oriented jobs throughout his life, including positions at Meijer, Walmart, AbleLight Thrift Store, and, most recently, Airborne Adventure Park. Airborne quickly became a place he truly loved. Ramon took great pride in ensuring the safety of the children who visited and creating joyful, memorable experiences for them—most notably when he served as Santa Claus this past December. His dedication and reliability were evident, as he did not call off work. Ramon, affectionately known at work as “Ray Ray,” made such a meaningful impact that he was named February 2026 Employee of the Month.
At heart, Ramon was a big kid himself. He loved video games, cartoons, and anime, with a special affection for the series One Piece. He was a huge movie collector and had a special fondness for pictures of wolves and wolf figurines—treasures that brought him genuine happiness and held deep personal meaning, offering comfort, inspiration, and joy. His favorite color was red, and he was rarely seen without his beloved jewelry—watches, bracelets, and big, flashy earrings that expressed his unique style. Those closest to him also knew him by his cherished childhood nickname, “Moo Moo.”
One of Ramon’s greatest joys was the Christmas season. His love for giving was so strong that he would begin asking family and friends as early as August what they wanted for Christmas, making sure he had enough time to find the perfect gift for each person.
Ramon Deon Culbert will be remembered for his unwavering faith, generous spirit, and the love he poured into his family, church, coworkers, and community. His legacy of service, compassion, and joy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Kimberly Culbert; siblings: Geneva Culbert, Dominique (Tasha) McBride; uncle: Arthur Culbert; cousins: Vandy (Ashley) Griffith and Jeremy Jones; God-sisters: Nikklle (Dennis) Carter, Akieba Washington, and Chelane Washington: bonus God-mother, Marlyn Reeves; bonus God-siblings, RaKeesha (Andrew) Pelt and RaShonda Reeves; two beloved fur nephews, Sydney Alexander and Jamie Ryan; and many other loving aunts and cousins. Ramon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Willie Mae Culbert; uncle David Culbert; Godmother Jeanetta Washington; and God-sister Eliza Washington.
