QuiNyah L. Fields (Lansing)

Mistress QuiNyah LaShontae-Monae Fields "Nyah" passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Helen DeVos Children Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Age 12 years. Nyah was born Saturday, October 20, 2012, in Lansing, Michigan, and she is the daughter of Obsession Fields and Quantrill Fields.

Nyah was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. With a heart full of love, a smile that could light up any room, and a spirit that touched everyone she encountered, she left an indelible mark on the world. Know for her love of dancing, Nyah recently started on a cheer team, bringing her boundless energy and enthusiasm to evert routine. She also enjoyed creating TikTok videos, spending time with her siblings, and sharing laughter with her friends.

Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who loved her. Nyah was a shining star whose radiance will never fade, and she will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and everyone whose life she touched.

Nyah is survived by her devoted mother, Obsession Fields; father, Quantrill Fields; maternal great-grandmother, Tracee Buchanon; paternal grandparents, Luella Fields “Kim” and Phenacia George Armstead; siblings, ReAzia Pea (Her beloved “Favorite” sister), Quantrill Fields, Jr., Quimoni Fields, Quiannis Fields, Quimones Fields, and her baby sister, Danaya Fields. She is also lovingly remembered by her uncles, Alizae Overton, Kavaciae Overton, Sincere Overton, Bruce Scott II, Clifton Jones, and Martral Fields; aunts, Keyani Fields, Kenya Fields, and Shamika Scott; many other relatives and friends.

Nyah is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Tiare Scott; great-grandfather Bruce Scott, Sr.; and uncle, Nicholas Jones.
