Patricia Martin (Lansing)

Ms. Patricia Ann Martin passed away Friday, April 7, 2023. Age 60. She was born on February 11, 1963, a cute, round-faced quiet baby with dimples and an infectious smile; the fourth child of Roy and Bobbie Martin.

“Pat” or “Tricia” as she would be known had one lifelong unerring goal in life, to become a mother.

After graduating from Harry Hill High School, Pat remained in Lansing close to her family. She worked various jobs in the area until; in 1985 she was blessed with her first child, a son, Lonnie B. Glover, Jr. Nearly eight years later, she gave birth to her second child, a girl, Keyonna Stewart. Patricia frequently said how pleased she was with her children, always maintaining a very close bond with all of them.

Pat also known as Sapphire treasured her membership in the Distinguished Elegance SC, living a full life with her children, extended family and friends.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memory, children, Lonnie, Jr., Keyonna, Tarence, Fyness, Jaqara, and Jamazai; 10 grandchildren, Lonnie, III, Lanaysia, LaQuel, LaQuan Glover, Tarence J. Davis, Noah J. Sankey, Za’Niyah and A’Nyla Martin, Unity and Serenity; siblings, Anthony Hall (Perla), Sheilah Taylor-Martin, Antonitia Martin; James Martin; her beloved Aunt Leola Taylor; many more family and friends.

Patricia was preceeded in death by her parents, Roy L. and Bobbie Martin and her brother, Roy L. Martin, Jr.
