Our beloved brother, father and grandfather went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 30, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Nathaniel was born June 2, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan to William Skillen and Eva Delores Reed. He had been an active member of the Nation of Islam and played a key role in community outreach through the O.I.C. Program as its Director of Operations.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Keisha Simpson, Nicole Yeargin, Demetris Fairria, Nathaniel Reed, Jr., Daniel Reed and Brandon Reed.
