Mr. Nathaniel Cole passed away at Covenant Cooper Hospital on Monday, November 18, 2024. Age 94 years. Nathaniel was born August 22, 1930, in Salem, Alabama to Will Cole and Catherin (Goldsmith) Cole.

Nathaniel united in marriage to Allean Mixon in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and later, they relocated to Saginaw, MI in the late 1960s. They enjoyed 68 years of marriage until she preceded him in 2022. After 29 years of service from General Motors Grey Iron Foundry in 1993, Nathaniel retired as a shop committee man. He enjoyed working with his hands as he built an addition to his home. He also delighted in listening to his beloved Tigers baseball games, fishing, listening to gospel, and socializing on the porch with his friends and family, including his Alabama Reunion Club family.

Nathaniel leaves to cherish his memory one son, Anthony Cole Sr., Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; grandchildren Rayonta McArn, Antwuan D (Kimberly) Cole, and Anthony Cole, all of Dallas, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Wesley) Boykin and Ella Mae (Melvin) Hayes, both of Toledo, OH; and special neighbors Exie Robinson, Shirley Haley, Annie Mae Mayday, and Pastor William and Dr. Laura Brown.

Nathaniel was preceded in death by his wife Allean Cole; his parents Will Cole and Catherin (Goldsmith) Cole; ten brothers and sisters, three sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law and a special daughter-in-law, Bettina Cole.
