Myrtle Elizabeth Collier, a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, peacefully entered eternal rest at the age of 80 years young on August 31, 2026, surrounded by her family. Myrtle was born on August 10, 1946, in South Bend, Indiana to the late Ben and Myrtle Lee.

Myrtle was charismatic, loving, and caring. She loved to laugh and make others laugh as well. She was blunt and straight to the point. "Chin up! Chest out!" was her personal motto. She loved her family and friends with all her heart.

Myrtle was employed at Johnson Controls for many years. She also worked as a teacher aide and a daycare assistant. Her passion was her business that she started years ago, affectionately known as "The Keepers." She faithfully took care of other people's family members' resting place with so much love and tender care, until her illness.

Myrtle was a proud member of Daniel's Den Ministries where she served on the Usher Board and other ministries under the leadership of Pastor Taurus A. Simpson Sr. and Co-Pastor Darlene Simpson.

Myrtle leaves to cherish her loving memory, one daughter, Pamela M. Collier, Saginaw, MI; one son, Reginald L. Collier (Robin), Yukon, OK; one special daughter-in-law, Sherri Collier, Covington, GA; seven grandchildren, Takiyalh Collier and Tyrek Brown, Saginaw, MI; Mikaailah and Shamuel Collier, Covington, GA; Reginald Collier Jr. (Alyssa) and Reise Collier, Yukon, OK; and Jaelin Pierce, Oklahoma City, OK; nine great-grandchildren, Emani and Michael Hall Jr., Saginaw, MI, Nahlah and Kaylani Collier, Covington, GA, Naomi Rodriguez, Reginald III, Remy and Reign Collier, Yukon, OK, and Cincere Pierce, Oklahoma City, OK; one special niece, Kimberly Bond, Saginaw, MI; the Thomas Family, the Lee Family of California, the Lawson Family; two bonus sons, Deleon Wells and Henry Hill Jr., Saginaw, MI; special friends, Debra Lawson, Ellen Raymond, and Ken Walker.

A special shout-out to her "Team" who assisted with her care: Tatasha Thomas, Margaret Blower, Arlinda Baldwin, and Kimberly Bond.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her son, Samuel G. Collier III; her parents, Ben and Myrtle Lee; her grandmother, Minnie Williams; and her brother, Howard Lee (Bubba).

The family wishes to express their gratitude for the many acts of kindness shown during their time of bereavement. May God bless each one of you.
