Murline Dorsey Williams, 84, recently relocated to Saginaw, Michigan, from Chicago, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Covenant HealthCare Cooper in Saginaw, Michigan. She was born July 4, 1940, in Forrest City, Arkansas, to Troy and Mary Lee Kennedy.

Murline graduated from Lincoln High School in Forrest City, Arkansas, where she was a student athlete in basketball and cheerleading, which she especially enjoyed.

Murline is survived by her sister, Maxine Douglass; three loving nieces, Charlotte Bradley (Edgar), Libby Bradley, and Teresa Jones; one nephew, Pharrington Douglass; two loving granddaughters, Valencia and Venecia Dorsey; and a host of cousins, other family members, including her special friends Tammy C., Jean A., Mary W., Naomi N., Faye H., Pearl K., Beverly W., Ola Mc., Tammy K., Trisha K., Gracie W., Shenda Mck., Debbie S., Ella, Hazel, Emma B., Barbara R. and Lynnette S.

Murline was preceded in death by her husbands, Willie Dorsey and Robert Williams, and her sons, Tony Dorsey and Kurt Dorsey.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to her dear niece, Charlotte and nephew, Pharrington.
