Milton was raised in Saginaw, Michigan, where he graduated from Saginaw High School, Class of 1971. During his high school years, he was an accomplished member of the marching band, proudly playing the alto saxophone. His musical excellence earned him First and Second Place medals in Solo and Ensemble competitions — reflecting both his discipline and natural talent.

He developed a lifelong love for jazz and maintained a deep appreciation for artistic creativity in music. Milton valued craftsmanship and excellence in sound, often reflecting on the beauty and complexity of musical expression. Music was not merely entertainment to him; it was culture, artistry, and meaningful expression.

Following high school, Milton attended Saginaw Valley State University before beginning a distinguished career in the skilled trades. He was accepted into the General Motors Journeyman Electrician Program, where he developed a reputation for precision, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Through years of dedication and professional excellence, he achieved the respected title of Master Electrician. Milton was a proud member of IBEW Local 191, exemplifying professionalism and commitment to his trade throughout his career.

Milton was a faithful and devoted member of Kingdom Lighthouse Worship Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia. An avid student of the Bible, he consistently encouraged others to put God first in everything they do. His faith was not merely spoken — it was lived. As a pillar of the KLWC community, he faithfully supported the work of ministry and stood firmly behind its vision and mission.

Milton will be remembered for his quiet strength, steadfast faith, musical appreciation, professional excellence, protective spirit, and unwavering devotion to family and friends. Though he has departed from this earthly life, the impact of his work, his faith, and his love will continue to resonate in the lives of those who knew him.

“Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, ‘Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ‘Yes,’ says the Spirit, ‘that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.’” — Revelation 14:13 (NKJV)
