Michael Shearer

Mr. Michael Shearer passed away Monday, December 15, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 58 years. Born to parents, Allie Tobias Shearer and Jackie Betty Jo Allred-Shearer, on April 8, 1967, in Lansing, Michigan.

After graduating high school in Lansing, Michigan, Michael earned his Certified Nursing Assistant’s certification. He truly loved his work and continued until he became too sick to keep up with the job.

Michael loved his children and fur babies.

Michael leaves to cherish his memory, children, Sarah Eve Carter (Shearer), Michael James Allen Shearer, and Nathan Shearer; sisters, Melody Shultz and Lora Worm; stepbrother, John Paul Jones; 6 nieces; 8 nephews; and bestfriend, Ronnie Pixley, who was always there for Michael.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Shearer; father, Allie Shearer; sisters, Debra Cherish, Marylee Cole and Betty Jo Shearer; grandmother, Eloise Adams; and stepmother, Sandra Shearer.
