Mr. Michael Aimery passed away Monday, September 8, 2025, in Mason, Michigan. Age 58 years. He was born on Tuesday, September 27, 1966, to the union of Sylvester and Doris Aimery in Lansing, Michigan.

Michael accepted Christ at an early age and attended several churches throughout his life, including his father's congregation, pastored by the late Reverend Sylvester L. Aimery. He was educated in the Lansing School District and later attended Business School at Lansing Community College.

Michael found joy in many things, but his greatest happiness came from time with his family. He loved playing basketball and other sports, gaming, singing, barbecuing, listening to soulful music, and working with his hands. He also loved playing different instruments, using music to bring the family together. Michael especially treasured time with his grandchildren, cheering at his children's sporting events, and sharing quiet evenings watching movies with his wife.

Michael was known for his warm and joyous spirit, always ready to lift the mood and bring a smile to those around him. He had a natural gift for making others laugh and feel at home, and his playful sense of humor could brighten any room. Michael lived his life with faith, love, and humility, teaching his family the importance of prayer and perseverance. His big heart and ability to bring people together will be deeply missed and forever remembered by everyone who had the blessing of knowing him.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Torrey Etta Aimery; his children, Anthony Lewis, Michael J. Aimery, Kyneisha Aimery, and Jazmynne Aimery; and his cherished grandchildren, Janaia Amos, Michael Jay Aimery, Cordell Miller Jr., Brooklyn Hart, and Londyn Lewis. He is also survived by his siblings, Stephen (Cassandra) Aimery, Sylvia Aimery, Mark Aimery, and Christopher (Indea) Aimery; his brothers­ in-law and sisters-in-law, Roy Lewis and David (Tammie) Frazier: and a host of nieces and nephews including Stephen Aimery Jr., Jayde Aimery, Jae! Brewer, Josiah Brewer, Xavier Brooks, Austyn Simmons, Khristina Aimery, Christopher Aimery Jr., Anna Hernandez, Jordan Frazier, Devin Frazier, Courtney Frazier, Brianna Frazier, and Andrew Frazier.

Michael's memory will also be cherished by his aunts and uncles, Michael Aimery, James Aimery Jr., Benjamin Jones, and Barbara Jones; his cousins, Shawn Easley, Charlene Easley, Darlene Easley, Deontae Porter, Mesha Porter, Keithe Aimery, Margie Aimery, Linda Aimery, Misty Bates-Gonzales, Charlie Jones, and Mike Allen; as well as dear family friends Sean Burnett, Renny Jones, Terry Cannon, Brian Cannon, Jeff Embry, Antoni Bicy, James K. Aimery, Jerry Lewis, and Wayne Deshazer along with many other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
