Mary Ann Richardson

Our beloved Sister, Aunt, Great-Aunt, Niece, Godmother, and Friend, Ms. Mary Ann Richardson, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 20, 2025, at Avista Nursing & Rehab. Age 65 years. She was born on May 12, 1960, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Curtis Lee Richardson, Sr., and Helena D. Johnson Richardson.

Mary Ann was a graduate of Buena Vista High School, Class of 1978. After high school, Mary, as she preferred to be called, worked various jobs around Saginaw. Her employers included Eaton Manufacturing, Goodwill Cleaners, and ultimately, she retired from Vlasic Pickle Factory. Mary Ann accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour at an early age and was baptized. She attended Candle Light Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Jimmie L. Simington. Mary loved playing dominoes, cards, and going to the casino. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Mary’s memory will be cherished by her siblings, Sharon (Roland) Berkley, Inell (Louis) Jackson, Nathaniel Richardson, Brian Richardson, all of Saginaw, Michigan, and Gerald (Debra) Richardson, of Boise, Idaho; one remaining maternal aunt, Claudia Mims; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including her goddaughter, Breanna Pruitt, Pontiac Michigan; special friends, Sonja Campbell and Mary Williams.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her loving mother and father, Curtis Lee Richardson, Sr., and Helena D. Richardson; maternal and paternal grandparents; and her brother, Curtis Lee “Dusty” Richardson.

The family would like to give special thanks to her niece, RaJeana Drain-Rodgers, great-nephew, Charleston Buriel, her brother-in-law, Louis Jackson, and the Staff at Covenant HealthCare and Avista Nursing & Rehab, for rendering exceptional care and love during her illness.
