Mary C. Johnson

Mrs. Mary C. Johnson passed away Thursday, October 2, 2025, in Owosso, Michigan. Age 97 years. She was born April 7, 1928, in Marked Tree, Arkansas. The daughter of Eddie and Lenora Works.

Mary C. Johnson was a member of Union Baptist Church. She loved church and gospel music.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Gwendolyn Hilliard and Deborah Bender; grandchildren, Errick Hilliard Jr of Portland, Michigan and Monté Johnson of Fort Gratiot, Michigan; great grandchildren, Destiny, Alexis, Amya, May, Carter, and Braylon; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patton W. Johnson Sr. and son, Patton W. Johnson Jr.
