May Coffman

Mrs. May H. Coffman was born August 3, 1951, in Magnolia Arkansas. The daughter of Bernice and Beatrice Milner. She passed away Saturday, September 19, 2026, in East Lansing, Michigan. Age 75 years.

May resided in Lansing, Michigan, but attended Grammar School in Arkansas. She worked as a hairdresser for many years. May loved to draw, decorate, watch classic films, and listen to classic music.

She leaves to cherish her memory children Johnny Coffman Jr. and Brynwen Coffman; grandchildren, Johnny Henry, Jamar R. Henry, Laila Henry, Destiny Henry, all of Lansing, Michigan, and Aiden J. Johnson of Santa Clarita Valley, California; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Anderson; brothers, Charles Milner and Tony B. Milner; nieces, Denise, Terri, Burgandy, Devin, and Sharonda; nephews, Jeffrey, David, and Eric; great nieces, Bethany, April, Candace, Tareva, Jimyla, Summer, Jakevieyana, Zyterreia, Royal, and Caylese; great nephews, Charles II, Tyler, Tamorian, Stanley Jr., Bernard Jr., and Carzyerion; cousins, Cherry and Alverna; sister-in-law, Elaine Milner; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Billie Jo Milner, Patricia Coats, and Kevin Reed.

May was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Coffman Sr.; parents, Bernice and Beatrice Milner; grandparents, Kizzie & Josephus Millage and Mattie & Cyrus Milner; sisters, Mary Griffin and Dianne Milner; niece, Zerlina; nephews, Byron and Stanley; aunts, Viola, Helen, and Leola; uncles, Jimmy, Willis, and Gover; cousins, Jazz, Ralph, Kenneth, Ruth-Helen, Eric, and Clarise; sister-in-law, Sue Milner; and brother-in-law, Melvin Anderson.
