Mark Anthony Petty

Mr. Mark Anthony Petty passed away Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Trinity Health Hospital in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Age 64 years. Mark was born in Saginaw, Michigan, to Luther Sr. and Lucille Petty.

Mark attended Saginaw Public Schools, and he loved all sports.

Mark leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Taffani Petty, who resides in Belleville, Michigan; two grandchildren, Johnnie Edwards and Izabella Rose Byrd; one sister, Jennifer Petty; one brother, Vince Petty; three nieces, Ericka, Latoya, and Arneisha Staton; one nephew, Damen Staton; many other relatives and friends, including special friends Joe Karpuk and Dorothy.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Luther Sr. and Lucille Petty; two sisters, Vicki Staton and Marv Jean Stickland; three brothers, Luther Petty, Jr., Gary Bond, and John Vincent Bond, Jr.
