Marguerite Gonzales

Mrs. Marguerite Gonzales passed away Friday, December 19, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan. Age 80 years. She was born May 17, 1945, in Lansing, Michigan.

Marguerite was a resident of Bath, Michigan and she loved spending her days sewing and cooking.

She leaves to cherish her memory children, Christopher Gonzales, Jonathon Gonzales, Kimberly Gonzales, and Kara Gonzales; stepdaughter, Juanita Gonzales-Huff; grandchildren, Brandy Edwards, Tara, Tonya, and Jessica Gonzales all of Lansing, Michigan, Brittanye Gonzales, Laney Morley, and Elijah Gonzales all of St. Johns, Michigan, Christopher Gonzales Jr., Lorenzo, Lamari, Kameron, and Keaton Stuckey all of Laingsburg, Michigan, Carlita, Selena, and Dante Gonzales all of Clare, Michigan, and Ashtin Mailand of Texas; great grandchildren, Isaiah, Gabriel, Salazar, Lena Perez, Christopher Gonzales III, Hunter, Peyten Gonzales, Joseph Hill, Myles Miller, Markeize, Dawson, Dayton, and Davion Williams; sisters, Beverly Anderson and Georgia Williamson; brother, Steven McCafferty; four nieces; and six nephews.

Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Fidel “James” Gonzales; stepson, Tony Gonzales; mother, Virginia Gibbons; father, Earl McCafferty; stepfather, Stanley Gibbons; sister, Sharon Lange; brother, John McCafferty; and mother-in-law, Juanita Gonzales.
