Deacon Lonnie Pryor went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 1:37 p.m., due to heart complications.
Lonnie was born October 13, 1962, in Memphis, TN to the union of Lonnie Minter, Sr. & Lucille Pryor-Minter. Lonnie will forever be remembered as a gentle giant, always kind and helpful with a giving heart.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Gwen Thurman-Pryor, three daughters: LaTasha Wilks, LaToya Wilks, and Lonnieka Varnes, and granddaughter Anasia Washington; along with three stepdaughters and ten step-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Lonnie is proceeded in death by his loving parents, Lonnie & Lucille Minter, mother-in-law, Dorothy Jean Hall, and special stepson, Sunday L. Thurman, Jr.
