Mrs. Linda Fay Berry Adams was born February 18, 1961, in Tallulah, Louisiana. The daughter of James and Elizabeth Berry passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side at MyMichigan Medical Center, Saginaw, Michigan, on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
Linda graduated from Arthur Hill High School Class of 1979. She retired from the United States Post Office after 36 years of service as a Postmaster. Linda was a member of Mt Nebo Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Willie R. Hill, Jr. Linda served on the Praise Team. She loved singing, fashion, poetry, and, of course, her favorite color was purple, which she used in many elements of her decorating skills within her home.
Linda leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 24 years with whom she shared a love for traveling, and taking leisurely walks, Larry Adams; one stepson, Dominique Oneal, Grand Rapids, MI; one grandson, Dominique O’Neal, Jr., Grand Rapids, MI; siblings, Diane (Leroy) Bell, Albion, MI, Annette Chambers, Sacramento, CA., and Rosemary Mauldin, San Francisco, CA.; nieces, Shila Smith, Baltimore, MD, Keifon Granberry, Keira (Cami) Bell, Markesha Blakley, Sponcia and Sasha Adams, Dee Dee Davis, Shundra and Shena Robbins, Amelia Cooper, Angel and Grace Bates, and Tearra Frazier; nephews, Keenan (Dawn) Granberry, Chris and Leroy Bell, Jalien (Janet) Bell, Marke Blakley, Demet Davis, Jay Cooper, Emmanuel Bates, and Steve Adams, Jr.; a host of cousins, family and friends, including the Whitley Family; father-in-law, Robert Bates; sisters-in-law, Lynn (Mark) Blakley, Dorothy (Mike) Bradley, and Katherine Frazier, all of Saginaw, MI, Angela Robbins, Antioch, TN, Shontella (Mike) Barnes, Lavergne, TN, Sharon (Bob) Copeland, Ripley, TN, Tracy Dolman, Louisville, KY, and Stacy Roger, Ripley, TN; brothers-in-law, Theron (Crystal) Bates, Saginaw, Michigan, Patrick Adams, Louisville, KY, and Steven Adams, Sr., Saginaw, MI; Linda also leaves her goddaughter, Tericka Patty.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James Sr. and Elizabeth Berry; brothers, William Berry “Billy”, and James Berry, Jr.; sister, Ernestine Cranberry, and mother-in-law, Sponcia Bates.
