Lillie M. Jackson

January 16, 1962 — December 15, 2025

Saginaw

Ms. Lillie Mae Jackson, our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend, went from labor to reward on Monday, December 15, 2025, at the age of 63 years. She was born January 16, 1962, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Leslie and Lenora Farmer.

Lillie was a graduate of Saginaw High School C/O 1981. She also attended Delta College. Lillie began her career at Vision Express at Fashion Square Mall, where she served as an Optician. She was the General Manager of The Eye Glass Factory for over 25 years and was later employed at Great Lakes Eye Institute until her health became compromised.

Lillie always had love for the Lord; she loved attending church. In her younger years, Lillie, along with her family, enjoyed worshipping at Mt. Zion C.O.G.I.C. under the Leadership of the late Pastor Roosevelt and Lady Zelma Chapman. Later, she united with Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Robert B. Jr. and Lady Janis Corley. During her later years, Lillie joined her family at the “Embassy on Burt Street,” New Faith Temple C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Elder Charles and Dr. Elizabeth Coleman.

Lillie loved playing games (especially cards), shopping, going out to eat, cooking delicious food, listening to good music, spending quality time with her family, spoiling and hanging with her grandchildren. Lillie enjoyed life and making every moment special. She was a person who would never give up, always fighting hard to make Lemonade out of lemons. Lillie was known for her class and style, demonstrated by the way she walked, talked, and carried herself, and by keeping her home clean and elegant.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her sons: Ulish “Deek” Farmer, De’Quentis “JC” Jackson and Tevin M. Jackson; grandchildren: Azhari, DeQuentis, Jr., Nadia, Payton, Arlee Armonn, Akya, G'oni, Arvani; mother, Lenora Farmer; special friend and ex-husband, Michael Jackson; mother-in-law, Annie Lee Jackson; siblings: Bessie Harrell, Emma Farmer, Leslie Farmer, Jr.; bonus siblings, the Jackson’s; aunts: Willie Mae Scott, Josephine Shaw, Lera Farmer Burton, Mary Hardin; uncle, Tommy (Nita) Farmer; special cousins: Lonnie (Nikida) Scott, Angie, Denise, Barbara Barnes; god-son, Samuel "New New" Jackson; special friends: Larissa White, Miriam Johnson, Joseph and Danita Lacy; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
