Mr. Leonard Boone Stevenson "Donnie" passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, in Saginaw, Michigan. Donnie was born September 12, 1964, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Edgar C. and Geraldine “Finnie” Turner.

Donnie was a graduate of Saginaw High School. He retired from Ace-Saginaw Paving/EDW Levy Company as a Heavy Equipment Operator Local 1098 after 31 years of service.

Donnie enjoyed traveling, playing cards, cooking, fishing, fixing cars, and taking pride in keeping his grass cut, yard clean, and neatly maintained. When it came to cooking, he was the master chef at grilling. Everyone would reach out to him about his expertise in cooking. Donnie hosted many family gatherings and traveling events to always bring people together. He loved being surrounded by laughter, family, and friends. Donnie always gave encouraging advice and uplifting guidance to all who knew and loved him.

Donnie married his loving wife, Trenika, who survives him, for 36 years; they shared a lifelong love and everlasting memories. He also leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Nekeda Stevenson and Donnika Stevenson, Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, Ar’Niyah, Ma’Dison, and Ari’Anna Stevenson, all of Saginaw, Michigan; two sisters, Sheryl Lynn Stevenson ( Reggie Cooper), and Rebecca Turner (Q); two brothers, Reginald G. Lamont Stevenson, and Edgar C. Stevenson “Hump”; three nieces, Kristal Stevenson, Sharelle Brown, and Antoinesha Turner; two nephews, Edgar Charles Barnes, and Jayon Stevenson; great nieces and nephews, A'Ohnesti Brown, Lejend Tillman, Paris Jones, Jr., Darelle, Tayden, and Carmen Barnes, and Demi Stevenson; special friends, Alvin Brooks, Charles and Roger Tellis, Anthony Ivory “Lemonade”, and his work buddies; three aunts, Oletha Williams, Irma Turner, and Annette Turner; two special cousins, Walter Williams, and Eddie Rice, a host of other cousins; one sister-in-law, Barbara Ann Doxie; two brothers-in-law, Channing and Patrick Washington; and many other relatives and friends..

Leonard “Donnie” Stevenson was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar C. and Geraldine “Finnie” Turner; sister Charlotte Turner; aunts, Vivian Slaughter, Mattero Foster, Claretha Brooks, Gussie Stevenson, and Lavora Lynch; uncles, Bob, Leroy, Gus, and James Turner, Marshall Ward, and Floyd Foster; mother and father-in-law, Louis and Eva Bell Washington; grandparents, Rebecca Whitfield, and Minnie Mae Clayton Turner; cousins, Marcus and Robert Bell, and special friend Mitch Williams.
