Lee Gonzalez

Mr. Lee Gonzalez passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Age 61 years. He was born November 7, 1963, in Lansing, Michigan, to parents, Marcus and Olivia Gonzalez.

Over the course of his life, Lee enjoyed many different activities. As a kid, he spent many summers attending bible camps with his siblings. He also loved to watch cartoons, thrift shop, go on bike rides, and just spend time outside.

Lee was a very skilled man and you could truly call him a “jack of all trades”. With that, he had many passions, one of which was music. He loved to collect vintage albums and has been involved in the music industry for over 20 years. He showcased his passion and talent in music as the bass player in the band known as “Spanish Angel”. Doing gigs with the band was one of many places where Lee was able to be the life of the party and also get his flirt on (he was a bit of a ladies’ man). In addition to his passion for music, he spent a lot of time restoring classic cars. He would record videos showing all of the upgrades that he had made and was planning to make to the cars. But most importantly, Lee genuinely just loved to spend time with his loved ones, especially kicking back with his brothers and having a beer.

He leaves to cherish his memory daughter, Alicia Haddad-Gonzalez; grandson, Ethan LeLand Haddad; siblings, Ray Gonzalez, Mary Gonzalez-Stone, Robert Gonzalez, Josephine Brown, James Gonzalez, Marty Gonzalez, Virginia Gonzalez, and Martha Gonzalez; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Olivia Gonzalez; sister, Roberta Gonzalez; and grandparents, Melcher Baltizar and Concepcion Chavez.
