On Saturday, June 7, 2025, Mr. Larry Walton made his transition from this world to be with his Heavenly Father. Larry was born on August 9, 1958, in Verbena, Alabama, to Talmadge and Elnora Bulger.
Larry was a long-time resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He accepted Christ in his life at an early age. Larry attended Spiritual Macedonia Baptist Church. After attending high school in Saginaw, Larry enlisted in the United States Navy. He enjoyed reading his Bible and spending time with family and friends while living life to the fullest.
Larry leaves to cherish his memory one son, Neil (Cheri) Hayes; five brothers, Michael Bulger, Fayetteville, North Carolina, Robert (Mary) Bulger, Nashville, Tennessee, Donald Bulger, Verbena, Alabama, Ronald (Mona) Bulger, Nuremberg, Germany, and Eddie (Bobbie) Bulger, Bailey, North Carolina; four sisters, Elizabeth (Bernard) Richardson, San Antonio, Texas, Carolyn (Rex) Ray, Verbena, Alabama, Tallulah Bulger, Fort Worth, Texas, and Marshelle Speigner, Hoover, Alabama; many special cousins including Pastors Annette (Marcallus) Sunday, Saginaw, Michigan, Keith (Tamika) Bulger, Saginaw, Michigan, Terry Bulger, Raleigh, North Carolina, and Derrick Davis, Saginaw, Michigan; five grandchildren, Marquay Brown, Saginaw, Michigan, Neil (Azirah) Hayes, Bay City, Michigan, Dre’Mont Hayes, Saginaw, Michigan, Chievell Hayes, Saginaw, Michigan, and Anabella Kalil, Mt. Pleasant, Michigan; several great-grandchildren; and special friend, Ronnie Tyler, Saginaw, Michigan.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Talmadge and Elnora Bulger; five brothers, Talmadge Bulger Jr., Danny Bulger, Julius Bulger, Gregg Moore, and Andrew Bulger; and one sister, Paulette Moore.
Larry’s favorite quote was “I try to treat everybody like I want to be treated” which is The Golden Rule.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.
