Mr. Kent Douglas Glass passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Avista Nursing & Rehab. Age 71 years. He was born on November 21, 1953, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Joseph Glass and Arcola Wilson Glass.

Kent attended Buena Vista Public Schools in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a member of Spiritual Israel Church, Temple # 7. Kent enjoyed singing, dancing, listening to music, and shopping. He loved to eat his favorite meal prepared by his sister and guardian, Josephine; Greens, Cornbread, and Spaghetti. He loved popcorn and cold pop. Most of all, Kent enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be forever cherished and greatly missed.

Kent is survived by three sisters, Evelyn L. Riley, Josephine Glass Billinger, and Avon Quist; two brothers, Joseph L. Glass, and Steven A. Glass Sr; three aunts, Mildred Morgan, Detroit, Michigan, Leaster E. Smith, Moss Point, Mississippi, and Hazel Wilson, Mississippi; two uncles, Clarence Wilson, Meridian, Mississippi, and Alvin O. Wilson, Saginaw, Michigan; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; one brother-in-law, Shawn M. Ormsby; many other relatives and friends including special friends at Beacon Harbor AFC: Sabrina, Towanna, Christy, Floretta and Billie.

Mr. Glass was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Arcola Glass; his grandparents; a nephew, Dudley Jr; and a niece, Alexius N. Hicks.

The family would like to express special thanks to Kent's nephew, Da'Vonta K. Greer, extended family and friends; the Staff at Beacon Harbor AFC, Hoyt Dialysis, and Covenant HealthCare, for the loving care, prayers, and kindness shown during our time of bereavement.
