Kenneth Roby "Kenny"

Mr. Kenneth Roby, known to all as “Kenny,” passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at his residence. Age 62 years old. He was born April 6, 1963, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Woodrow and Geraldine Roby.

Kenneth moved to Saginaw, Michigan, in 1975, where he attended Saginaw Public Schools. Kenneth worked for Chi-Chi’s, Matthew Car Care, RPM Automotive, and Riverside Auto Parts. Kenneth enjoyed music, dancing, skating, and most of all spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially the 23rd St. Family.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory one son, Dante’ Gibbs; two granddaughters, Destini Gibbs and Kimora Gibbs; six sisters, Geraldine Clerk “Lovie” Katherine Roby, Claritha (Donnie) Johnson, Diane (Ricky) Cameron, Daveda Quinn (Preacher man), and Rochelle Hill; five brothers, Calvin (Helen)Davis, Maxie (Glenda) Roby, Howard Roby, Floyd Roby, and Deandre Minniefield; five aunts, and a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; godparents, Fred and Rochelle Gilmer; best friends, Alex Taylor, Tony Rogers, Russell Coleman and Lee Ross, many other relatives and friends.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Geraldine Roby; grandparents, Dudley and Nellie Smith-Roby and Johnny and Brazella Jones-Page; four brothers, Clarence, Larry, and Clint Roby and David Quinn; brother-in-law, Josh Clerk, and sister-in-law, Wanda “Faye” Roby.
