William Kelly

Mr. William Jay Kelly "Bill" passed away at the age of 63. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan, on April 8, 1962, to John H. Kelly, Jr., and Nell Rose (Patton) Kelly.

Bill attended Buena Vista High School. He loved playing golf, gardening, watching Jerry Springer, and Perry Mason. He was also dapper and loved dressing to the nines, something he learned from his grandpa John H. Kelly, Sr., aka Papa Kelly. Bill worked at several local manufacturing plants and was a driver for Swift Trucking.

Bill leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Nell Rose (Patton) Kelly; two daughters, Kaimila Kelly, Saginaw, MI; Keisha Scott, Saginaw, MI; one step daughter, Shannon Worthington, Grand Blanc, MI; two sons, Olando Scott, Saginaw, MI, and Anthony Ray, Chicago, Il; bonus son, Kenny Burgins, Saginaw, MI; two brothers, Bryan (Anna) Patton, John "Ricky" (Fonda) Kelly; one sister, Kai (Randy Fletcher) Bailey, Springfield, TN; two grandsons, Kai ‘Heir Jay Kelly and DeMario Worthington, Jr.; one granddaughter, Kimberly Worthington; many other cousins, nieces, nephews aunts, uncles and other relatives; special friends, Dale Miller, Antoine Davis, and Rochelle Johnson.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly (Foster) Kelly, his maternal grandparents, James and Lucille Patton, his father, John H. Kelly, Jr., his paternal grandparents, John H Sr. and Earlene Kelly; sister, Stephanie Jones, and father-in-law, Henderson Foster.

The family wishes to express a special thank you to Covenant Harrison Staff, Bonus son and Caregiver, Kenny Burgins, Ivan E. Phillips, and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.

The family expresses their sincere thanks for all the condolences and prayers.

Bill’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be a family memorial service at a later date.
