Celebrating the Life of Cameron Vershonda Lee Arnold
Our beautiful, sweet, kind, and loving Kameron Vershonda Lee Arnold gained her heavenly wings on Tuesday, July 14, 2026. She was born on February 19, 1987, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Deborah D. Crawford and Kenton Arnold.
Kameron was a beloved daughter, an amazing sister, cherished niece, cousin, friend, and, above all, a devoted and loving mother to her only son, Mark C. Barnes Jr. Her love for her son was unconditional, and he was the greatest joy of her life.
A proud graduate of Saginaw High School, Kameron graduated with honors and was a member of the National Honor Society. During her high school years, she briefly pursued a modeling career, reflecting her confidence and vibrant spirit.
Kameron was a dedicated, dependable, and hardworking employee at Hoyt Nursing & Rehab Centre, where she faithfully served for 21 years. Committed to advancing her career, she recently returned to school to earn her certificate as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and was eagerly awaiting placement for her clinical training.
Kameron found happiness in the simple pleasures of life—raising and spending precious time with her son, skating with her mother, and sharing conversations, laughter, and unforgettable memories with her family and friends. Kameron's beautiful smile, kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for those around her will forever be remembered.
Kameron leaves to cherish her precious memory: her beloved son, Mark C. Barnes Jr.; loving parents, Deborah D. Crawford and Kenton Arnold; cherished godson, Robert Lee "RJ" Jeffries IV; her son's father and dear friend, Mark C. Barnes; three brothers, Jarard K.A. Arnold, Quentin Lavell O'Neal-Arnold, and Christopher J.K. (Jasmine) Arnold; one niece, Eliana Maia Arnold; 12 uncles, including Ricky G. (Joyce) Staves, Ronald A. Turner, Darold E. (Greg) Butts, Tammy K. Cooper, Michelle (Jemal) Nero; along with a host of aunts, cousins, extended family members, dear friends, coworkers, and all whose lives were blessed by knowing and loving her.
Kameron was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy and DeLois Turner, Eddie and Edna Arnold; her dad, Kevin Crawford; two uncles, Keith and Stacy Arnold; godmother, Valerie Powell, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
