Johnny Lee Anthony, Jr. (Lansing)

Johnny Lee Anthony, Jr. (affectionately known as “John John”) departed his earthly home on Monday, March 12, 2018 at the age of 38. He was born April 23, 1979 in Lansing, Michigan to Johnny Lee Anthony, Sr. and Rurshell Anthony.

He attended and graduated from Lansing Public Schools. He was known for his smile, sense of humor, grilling skills, and his love for his three daughters and one son. Whether it was assisting with video presentations or home renovations, John was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and family.

John leaves to cherish his memory his four children, Trevon Ayotte, Jealynn, Ja’Nya, and Ja’Mes Anthony; parents, Evangelist Rurshell Anthony and John (Karen) Anthony; wife of seven years Deanna Anthony; siblings, Shannon Anthony, Tamika Sinclair, Sarah Anthony, Markus Anthony, Darius Anthony; step-siblings, Dominic Roberts, Sade Johnson, and Kaysi Higgins, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his grandparents; Arthur and Clara Sinclair and Crawley and Ellen Anthony; great-grandparents, Rev. Henry and Lear B. McCall, Wilma Peeler, and Renzy and Eula Scott.
