John Henry Green

John Henry Green passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at Heartland Healthcare. Age 92 years. He was born July 5, 1920 in Carrollton, Mississippi to Charlie and Martha Green.
He accepted Christ and was baptized at an early age in Carrolton, Mississippi.He married Claudy West in 1941 who preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children James (Linda) Smith, Cleveland, Ohio, Charles Green, Robinsonville, Mississippi, Benjamin Green, Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, Olivia (Sylvester) Jones and Johnny (Shirley) Green both of Saginaw, MIchigan; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including special god-children, Crystal E. Green and Dyamond Rowe.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by five of his children, Florance Green, Ora Lee Green, John H. Green Jr., Essie Wallace; two brothers, Robert L. Green, Charlie Curry; three sisters, Frances Hamilton, Alberta Jones and Lillie Mae Cook.
