John David Rankin, Sr., passed away quietly in his sleep at home on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the age of 71 years old. He was born December 1, 1950, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of John and Stella Rankin.
John was a Field Service Engineer who traveled for his job. He enjoyed his travels as well as camping and fishing. John loved spending time with his family including his dogs.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Marjorie (Root) Rankin; three children, John (Veronica) Rankin, Jr., Bethany (Ricardo) Aviles, Kevin (Julie) Burbank; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, cousins, many other relatives and friends.
