Jimmy Walker

Jimmy James Walker, who was born on October 21, 1964, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, peacefully departed this life on July 10, 2026. He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply and will forever cherish the precious memories they shared.

Throughout his life, Jimmy was known for his fearless spirit, unwavering loyalty, and loving heart. Family meant everything to him, and he took great pride in the relationships he built with those he loved. He was especially proud of earning his high school diploma—an accomplishment that reflected his determination, perseverance, and commitment to achieving his goals.

Those who knew Jimmy will always remember his infectious laughter, his love for enjoying life, and the genuine happiness he found in spending time with family and friends. His warm smile, generous heart, and unforgettable personality left a lasting impression on everyone blessed to know him.

Although Jimmy had no children of his own, he found great joy in the love of his family and held a special place in the hearts of his nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Vernon Randle (Letisha) of Saginaw, Michigan, and Mazzie Rudison of Saginaw, Michigan; his sisters, Monica D. Jones of Kansas City, Kansas, and Ruthella Rudison of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and his stepfather, Louis Tee Randle of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Jimmy also leaves behind his beloved nieces, Trayonna Scott, A’myia Randle, and Tatum Randle, all of Saginaw, Michigan; his nephews, Preston Snow (Whitney) of Saginaw, Michigan, Savien Randle, and Amontae Rudison, all of Saginaw, Michigan; his aunts, Evelyn Jones of Denham Springs, Louisiana, Alice Inner of Detroit, Michigan, and Annie McDonald of Saginaw, Michigan; along with a host of cherished cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, laughter, and loving spirit.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Chester and Jeffie McDonald; his parents, Leroy and Mary M. Walker; his aunts, Areece Johnson and Hattie Marie Miles; his uncles, Chester McDonald and Billy Ray Scott; and his beloved nephew, Mazzie D. Rudison.

Though our time with Jimmy was far too short, the memories we created together will remain forever in our hearts. We will cherish the laughter we shared, the countless conversations, the treasured phone calls, and the many times he reminded us, “Love you.” Those simple words now echo as a lasting reminder of the love he carried for his family.

Today, we find comfort in knowing that Jimmy is at peace—free from every burden, every struggle, and every pain—resting safely in the loving arms of our Heavenly Father. Though he is no longer with us in body, his legacy of love, laughter, strength, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
