Javell Nash

Mr. Javell Nash was born January 3, 1995, in Lansing, Michigan. The son of Jacqueline Smith and Joe Willie Nash. He left to be with God in the early morning of September 8, 2026. Age 31 years.

Javell attended Beekman school at an early age and graduated. He enjoyed watching SpongeBob, bowling, going to sports games, swimming, listening to music, and going to camp. He was always smiling and laughing. Javell was just a very joyful person to be around. We loved Javell and will miss him so much. If you truly knew him, then you know he was a great and enjoyable person to know.

He leaves to cherish his memory parents, Jaqueline Smith and Joe Willie Nash; stepmother, Sharmaine Nash; sisters, Charma, Cherish, and Joniyah Nash; brothers, Jovontae and Joe Nash Jr.; aunts, Ora Smith - known as “TT”, Emma Peters, Lizzie Brown, Lillie Wade, Michelle Nash, and Joyce Smith; uncles, Jonathan Smith, Billy (Mary) Smith, George (Bonita) Smith, and Roger (Racheal) Smith; many cousins; and many other relatives and friends including special friend, Elizabeth R. Boznango.

Javell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Annie Laura & Johnny Smith, and Josephine Luego; uncles, Johnny, Roosevelt, and Leon Smith.

The family would like to express special thanks to the Sparrow Hospital ICU Medical Staff and the additional hospital staff that cared for Javell. We would also like to thank the staff at the Harper Home in Mason for all of the love and care they provided for Javell.
