Jamal John Haney

Mr. Jamal John Haney passed away Thursday, October 31, 2025, in Saginaw, Michigan, at Covenant Harrison. Age 42 years. Jamal was born March 3, 1983, in Saginaw, Michigan. The son of Wendell and Zenobia Haney.

Jamal was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He received a diploma from Stepping Stones. Jamal was employed at Exist Restaurant, Zender’s, and Tony’s. Jamal loved cooking, hunting, fishing, and hanging out with family and friends. Jamal also enjoyed working with car/radio systems. He was a brave man who was full of love and had the brightest smile.

He leaves to cherish his memories daughters, Amiya Gardner and Kaydence Garrett; son, Jamal Haney Rendon Jr., parents, father, Wendell Haney; grandmother, Faye Williams; sister, Kiaria Haney; brothers, Wendell Jr. and Jovon Haney; five nieces, Shyanne, Shaliee , Shaylin, and Shayla Haney, and A’Vayla Myles; five nephews, Wendell, Nathaniel, and Zaylen Haney, Angelo and Ashton Myles; four aunts, Joanne Short, Christine Springer, Shirley Branch, and Charolette Nash; six uncles, Jhonnie Porter, Orlando Lathon, Celester Lathon, Joseph Porter, Jeffery Moore, and Arnell Williams; many other relatives and friends including special friends, Wendra Blossey, and Tony Butnon.

Jamal was preceded in death by his mother Zenebia Haney; brother Wendell Haney, Jr., grandmothers, Faye Williams, and Gloria Kathon; grandfathers Olaska Williams, Pastor Lathon, Fleming Porter, and JB Haney; aunt Christine Springer; uncles James Haney, Robert Haney, and Joseph Porter,
