Mr. Harold Eugene Williams was born Tuesday, May 7, 1946, in Jackson, Michigan to Charles B. and Oneta B. (Harrell) Williams.

He worked at General Motors for one year prior to joining the U.S. Army. He served in the U.S. Army for two years where he was decorated with a National Defense Service Medal and Sharpshooter Badge with an Honorable Discharge in 1968. He also served four years in the Army Reserves until 1972. He earned an Associate Degree in the Carpenter Program at Lansing Community College in 1974. Harold was a Carpenter at General Motors and retired June 2001 after working for thirty-six years.

Harold met the love of his life, Rosemary Hankerson and married her on April 24, 1971. They were married for 55 years. He loved playing tennis, golfing, watching TV, and landscaping, traveling, going to the movie theater, listening to jazz and spending time with family.

Harold was quiet, laid back, had a great work ethic, and punctual. His favorite response to most things was, "I ain't gonna worry about it."

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Charles B. and Oneta B. Williams; sisters, Vernell Williams, Imogene Williams, Sandra Doles, and Vivian Thornton; brother, Charles (Charlotte) Williams; sister-in-law Joyce Williams; brother in-law, James A. Hankerson; and son-in-law, Bobby Wilson.

Harold went home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2026. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Rosemary Williams; son, Harold Terrance (Kelli) Williams; daughters, Crystal Wilson and Vivian Richards; grandchildren, Tre (Jacqueline) Wilson, Marquise (Bella) Wilson, Dezmond (aka DJ, Dez) Williams, Chei' La Hubbard, Byonca Mack, Kaz Walter, and Jacob Kinder; great-grandchildren, Loryn Wilson, Josiah Wilson, Beyonce, Jamir, Legend, Amara, KJ, Caiden, and Carson; great-great grandchild Ameliana; sister, Mabel Thornton; brother, Wilbert Williams; brother-in-law, Chet Doles; aunt, Lillie Rodgers; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
