Gloria B. Mobley

Mrs. Gloria Breavious Mobley, affectionately known as “B.R.E.A.V.I.O.U.S.”, peacefully departed this life on July 20, 2026, at the age of 65. Born in Saginaw, Michigan, she was the beloved daughter of Breavious Mockabee and Lawrence C. Green, Sr. Throughout her life, Gloria was known for her unwavering love for her family, her deep faith in God, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met.

Gloria received her education through Central Middle School and later completed her studies through an adult continuation school. She dedicated many years of service to SC Johnson and 7-Eleven, where she was known for her strong work ethic and warm personality.

On April 7, 1992, Gloria was united in marriage to Arthur Lee Campbell, Jr. Although their marriage later ended in divorce, they remained lifelong friends, and Arthur continued to hold a special place in her heart as one of her close and most cherished companions.

A faithful member of Greater Coleman Temple, Gloria loved the Lord and lived a life grounded in faith. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially spending time with her family. She adored jewelry, loved the color pink, and treasured every opportunity to create lasting memories with those she loved. Her greatest joy was being a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Gloria leaves to cherish her precious memory her beloved daughter, Gloria Williams, and her devoted son-in-law, Derrick Williams, who held a treasured place in her heart. She is also survived by her brother, Reverend Lawrence C. Mobley Green; seven beloved grandchildren: De’Alishay, Kentaisha, Derrick Jr., Joseph, De’Eryca, Demerick, and D’Reek; and four cherished great-grandchildren: MiAngel, whom she lovingly raised and shared an extraordinary bond with, Nova, Kimora, and Ryleigh, along with many other grandchildren who lovingly knew her simply as “Granny.”

She also leaves to cherish her memory dear friends, Bridgette Patrick, Michael Smokie Galvin, Leodis Ross, Louis Ward, Nina Ward, Genita Wills, and Vanessa McQueen; goddaughter Torianna Bridgewater; favorite cousins Billy Washington, Zenobia White, and Zeller Blaine; her special nephews Demerick Thomas and Germaine Winston of Fayetteville, North Carolina; special nieces Courtney Mobley of Seattle, Washington, Lashawnda Mobley of Grand Rapids, Michigan; her great-niece Arneicion Cooper; and a host of additional relatives including her loving dog, Lucky, whom she adored; extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Laura Jane Mason; mother, Breavious Mobley; father, Lawrence Green; sister, Loretta Green; brothers, Percy Mobley and Elgie Mobley; nephew, Keyonus Mobley; niece, Tamela Brodnex; her lifelong best friend, Dawn Ricklefs; and  beloved goddaughter, Tara Ricklefs.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Riverside Dialysis for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided Gloria throughout her journey.

Though Gloria’s earthly journey has ended, the love she shared, the faith she lived by, and the legacy of compassion she leaves behind will continue to live in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Her beautiful spirit will never be forgotten, and her memory will remain a source of comfort, strength, and inspiration for generations to come.
