Floyd Jenkins, Jr.

Our beloved brother, uncle, and friend, Mr. Floyd Jenkins Jr., passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025, in Saginaw, Michigan, at the age of 69. Floyd was born March 29, 1955, in Sunflower, Mississippi, to Floyd and B. Ella Jenkins.

Floyd attended Saginaw High School. He found great joy in life’s simple pleasures, fishing, listening to music, dancing, and riding his bike. Floyd’s kindness and joyful spirit touched the lives of many.

Floyd leaves to cherish his loving memories siblings, Dorann Jenkins, Mary (Willis) Trammell, Gloria Jenkins, Patricia Burns, Emma (Larry) Taylor, Lorraine Jenkins, Melissa (Jeffrey) Harris, John Jenkins and Dennis Jenkins; His memory will also be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and special friends, including Vince Garcia and Rudolph Fitchett Jr.

Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Jenkins Sr. and B. Ella Jenkins; his brother, Ernest Jenkins; his nephew, Jermaine Jenkins; and his niece, Tanisha Jenkins.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to My Michigan Medical Center Hospice for their compassionate care.

The family will hold an appropriate ceremony at a later date.
