Eulalia Carter

Ms. Eulalia V. Carter, age 71, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at her residence in Saginaw, Michigan.

Eulalia was born on February 5, 1955, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Leonard Wesley and Adella Smith Carter. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Eulalia had a gentle spirit and found great joy in the simple beauty of life. She loved planting beautiful flowers and working in the yard, especially alongside her mother. She cherished her family and the many relationships she developed throughout her life.

Eulalia leaves to cherish her memory her sister, Sharon Barney; five brothers, Lloyd Frye, Ervin Carter, Carlon Carter, Rubin Carter, and Morgan Carter; six nieces, Felicia Carter, Dorkis Jefferson, Morgan Ann Carter, Lahoma Lawrence, Kristy Anderson, and Nicole Nance; three nephews, Brian Carter, Carlon Carter II, and Rubien Carter II; a host of cousins on her stepfather's side; and her special cousin, Preston Johnson, who lovingly assisted Eulalia with getting around during her later years when her health declined.

Eulalia is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sanchia Carter, along with many other relatives and dear friends, including Melissa Farmer, Kanisha Farmer and her daughter Kali Farmer, Devonte Paige, Kristy Kiara Bryant, Keandre Bostick, Kevin Bostic, Kahleah Richardson, James Richardson, Jahmear Richardson, Michael Williams, Cayden Williams, Nicole Tanisie, Dominie and Chantrel Williams, Dorien Johnson, and Kenneth Edward Jr.

Eulalia was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard W. and Adela Carter; stepfather, Sylvester Johnson; brother, Ervine Carter; grandparents, Preston and Beaulah Smith, uncle, Leroy Smith; cousins, Christopher Jefferson, Patricia Barney, and Wanda Lawrence.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to Ivan E. Phillips and staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel, Reverend Frank K. Voris and St. Joseph Catholic Church Family, Deacon Larry Gayton, and everyone who offered love, prayers, kindness, and support to Eulalia and her family.
