Ellen Ann Cannarile

Ellen Ann (Creager) Cannarile gained her wings and flew away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at University of Michigan Sparrow Health Systems, Lansing, Michigan. She was born on Tuesday, July 10, 1945, the daughter of Wilson and Gladys Creager in Harrison, Michigan.

Ellen started her career working at the old Lansing General Hospital and worked there for a number of years and later she started her job as a homemaker.

Ellen enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, bowling, upholstering furniture, canning and working with her flower beds.

Ellen is survived by her son, Anthony; grandchildren, Sheena (Kole), Kylee (Tom), Summer (Eddie), and Jacob Cannarile; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Jackie (Will) Myers and Jan McCulloch; brother-in-law, Frank (Jennifer) Cannarile; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Cannarile; son, Daniel Cannarile; and her parents.
